Scott Goodrich, MD

Dr. Goodrich joined the U.S. Army Reserve after graduating from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2003. He completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same institution in 2007, after which he transitioned to active-duty military service as a staff obstetrician-gynecologist at Fort Drum in Watertown, New York. In 2008, he was transferred to Kentucky, where he completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Kentucky in 2011.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Goodrich was assigned to Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, to fulfill his military service obligation. He was honorably discharged in 2017 and relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he partnered with Dr. Iwona Podzielinski to establish a practice. In 2024, Dr. Goodrich and Dr. Podzielinski left corporate medicine to found Fort Wayne Gynecologic Oncology, a division of Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology.

Dr. Goodrich specializes in treating pre-cancerous and cancerous gynecologic conditions, including ovarian, fallopian tube, peritoneal, cervical, uterine/endometrial, vulvar, vaginal, and gestational trophoblastic disease. He also provides medical and surgical care for complex gynecologic conditions, having performed thousands of robotic procedures. For interested patients, he supports an integrated approach to care, blending holistic treatments with conventional Western therapies. Dr. Goodrich is Board-certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in various sporting activities, and traveling.
