Dr. Nattam has been practicing with Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology since 1981. His contributions to the field have earned him recognition, including the “Champions of Hope Award” from Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana and being named one of Fort Wayne’s “Top Oncologists” in the Fort Wayne Reader’s Choice Poll.

Dr. Nattam chose oncology more than 40 years ago, and the passion that initially drew him to the field remains as strong today. He finds fulfillment in helping as many patients as possible fight their illnesses and takes pride in the long-term relationships he has built with many of his patients.

He enjoys working at Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology because of the shared commitment among his care team members to their patients. With the frequent visits patients often require, doctors and patients build a strong rapport. Dr. Nattam deeply values the natural trust that develops between the providers and their patients.

Dr. Nattam finds this an exciting time to practice oncology. When he first joined Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology in 1981, treatment options were far more limited. Today, the focus on personalized medicine, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy—teaching the patient’s own immune system to fight disease—represents extraordinary progress. What once was cutting-edge science is now powerful, effective medicine helping countless patients achieve better outcomes.
