Dr. Ahad Sadiq has joined our staff of physicians. He’d previously served at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
A native of Lahore, Pakistan, Ahad completed his initial medical training at King Edward Medical University in Lahore. His postdoctoral training includes a family medicine internship at the Brooklyn (New York) Hospital Center, serving as chief resident in internal medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center, serving as a research associate at the University of Minnesota, and a fellowship in oncology and hematology at the University of Chicago. Much of his considerable research and subsequent publications have focused on thoracic oncology.
“Ahad is a valuable addition to our already outstanding staff of physicians,” says Dan Konow, chief operating officer for Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology. “His extensive expertise in thoracic cancer is a fine complement to our considerable knowledge base.”
Ahad and his wife, Gulrukh, have three children. The family enjoys traveling, and Ahad is an avid squash player.
